Update as of 30/8/2016: Route deviation will no longer be in operation. Route 22 services will commence using Mount Morgan range as normal from Monday 5 September 2016.
Update as of 29/7/2016: The Mount Morgan deviation is still current despite the roadworks originally scheduled to be completed by 25 July 2016.
Due to road works on the Mount Morgan Range, from the 13 June our Mount Morgan (Route 22) service will be deviated via Burnett Hwy, Pioson Creek Rd, Razorback Rd , Burnett Hwy into Mt Morgan. Passengers boarding at Struck Oil can travel over to the intersection of Leyden Hill Rd and Razorback Rd to board.
Whilst we have made attempts to contact our elderly passengers that would be effected, we encourage you to think about anyone that may be impacted and to let them know of the deviation for this time frame.
You can also expect delays of up to 15 to 30 minutes. Please understand, these delays are outside of our control and we appreciate your patience during this time.
Weather permitting, the Department of Transport and Main Roads will undertake maintenance work on the range from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday for about six weeks.
One lane of traffic will be closed during the work, with traffic control on site.
An alternative route for motorists travelling in the Mount Morgan area is Razorback Road, which is accessible via the Burnett Highway or Poison Creek Road.
