Rockhampton Regional Council has launched a Christmas Tree competition to youth groups with the winner set to receive a $500 gift voucher.
Trees will be displayed for public viewing in shop front windows along East Street from Monday 25 November 2019 and the public will vote for a winner!
The winner will be determined by the number of unique public votes submitted in the voting barrel/s before COB Friday 6 December 2019.
Our friend from Project Booyah have entered the competition this year. Senior Constable Joe Ramsay, the Project Booyah Rockhampton Coordinator said “If you are walking/driving/patrolling the East Street Mall and want to place a vote for the Project Booyah Christmas tree it would be greatly appreciated. The project booyah team spent a couple of hours decorating and would like to hear about the continued community support.”
TO VOTE visit Stewarts (82 East St) or The Coffee Society (126 East St) and submit your vote.
