Held across Queensland mid-September, Disability Action Week brings everyone together.
From art exhibitions and afternoon teas to sports days, beach days, crafternoons and sensory sessions.
The annual Beach Day Out was held at the Yeppoon foreshore and beach, providing a fun day for the whole community, especially for people who may usually have difficulty accessing such an event. The event was managed by a steering committee comprising government and non-government organisations.
A musical gathering brought together Rockhampton Accommodation Support & Respite Services clients, family & friends and included singing, creative sounds, dancing and body percussion.
