After many years of service to Young’s Bus Service, our very own “hygiene man Hugh” is semi-retiring. Based in our Yeppoon depot, Hugh is our cleaner and has made it his business to ensure all our buses are sparkling clean and free from yucky germs & microorganisms.
Hugh is the type of bloke that’s liked by many. One of our bus drivers said “Hugh is always there for us when we need him, above and beyond. He is really easy going and never cranky.”
Hugh has always been a hard worker. In 2015 just before Cyclone Marcia impacted the Capricorn Coast, Hugh was at the depot ready for work. During the 2010 Rockhampton floods, Hugh saved all the buses from flooding but in the end lost his own car. His hard work during natural disaster even earned him 5 star accommodation in one of the Young’s buses.
Good luck in all your future endeavours Hugh. We will miss you heaps!
