It’s a sombre day today for Young’s Bus Service as it will be the last day Danella is with us. Danella has been the face of our Yeppoon office for the last 5+ years, helping drivers, parents, passengers, tourists, schools and businesses. Danella is a radiant young lady with a heart of gold and has more patience than Mother Teresa.
Young’s Office Manager Margaret Young said “Danella has done alot for us. She has added a lot of value in dealing with misconduct by developing a great relationship with the schools in our region. She is very appreciated by all the staff for everything she does in Yeppoon because she brings much enjoyment with her, like morning teas and hosting events like Halloween. Danella has created such a great atmosphere and still manages to wear the hats of many people and do it well! Danella is going to be a loss to us but we wish her well in all her endeavors and new career.”
We spoke to Danella on her last day and she said “I have been so lucky to work with a fabulous, supporting and empowering team. What we bring to the community together is a special type of service and we play a vital role for different people, from getting kids to school safely, connecting the elderly to their independence and providing an option for those who are environmentally conscious about their travel.”
