It’s been a few years in the making and now students of Taranganba State School can enjoy their new bus stop. The $1.1M infrastructure project also included the recent installation of traffic lights and the recommissioning of the existing bus stop location to a stop, drop and go lane for parents.
Located on the new Frangipani Drive just off Taranganba Road, the bus stop has a total of 5 bays.
The new bus stop and service changes will take effect on Monday 16 November 2020.
There will be some minor changes to our services which passengers, students and parents should familiarise themselves with.
Service changes
Students from Pacific Heights, Barlow’s Hill, Meilkeville Hill, Yeppoon areas to Taranganba State School & Sacred Heart transfer onto Route 27 at Hill Street at 8.20am & 3.25PM (Yeppoon Town Bay 1).
Students from Emu Park Road, Tanby Road areas to Taranganba State School use Tanby Heights services, Transfer at Yeppoon High for Yeppoon Primary at (Bus Bay 6) Sacred Heart (Bus Bay 1) St Benedict’s (Bus Bay 6).
Students from Mt Chalmers, Cawarral areas to Taranganba State School transfer at Yeppoon High School (Bay 1) onto Tanby Heights service at 8.12am and 3.25PM Sacred Heart (Bus Bay 1) – St Benedict’s (Bus Bay 6).
Students from all services to and from Farnborough & St Benedict’s transfer point – pickup & set down (Bus Bay 6).
