Passengers are advised Livingstone Shire Council is undergoing repairs to the Bridge located at the Causeway Lake. The road works will commence Wednesday 25 November with completion scheduled for Friday 27 November, subject to weather conditions.
During this period, minor delays are expected on the Route 20 bus service.
Please be assured Livingstone Shire Council will be working to minimise the impact of the construction works on the community and its visitors, and requests your patience and cooperation during this time. To ensure your safety and the safety of others during construction, Council requests your assistance by observing the following:
- The footpath will be closed to all pedestrian traffic on Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th and Friday 27th November.
- One lane of the Causeway Bridge will be closed intermittently with traffic control over the period Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th November.
- Exercise caution and obey all traffic signs and traffic controller directions.
- Be aware that minor traffic delays will occur from time to time and Council will endeavour to keep these delays to a minimum.
