Step1: Which bus do I catch?
Look for Timetables to locate a route.
Select your route and view timetable.
Locate departure point – choose from the stops listed.
Find departure time – read across the page for all the times that services will depart from that point.
Note: Columns read from top to bottom in order of the route.
Locate destination point by choosing from stops listed.
To find arrival time – follow the departure time column down until you meet the selected destination point.
Note: – (dash) depicts no stopping at that point.

Step 2: How much is the bus fare?
In determining the fare cost you need to know the following:
- Status – Adult, Pensioner, Senior, Student, Child.
- Boarding & Destination points – to calculate the number of fare zones used in journey.
- Ticket Type – Single (one way) or daily(unlimited travel for day of issue).

Valid Concession card information available from Fare Concessions.
Step 3: At the bus stop.
Watch for the bus with your route number.
Indicate that you require the bus. This can be done by:
- Hailing the bus.
- Moving towards the bus but not into its path.
- At night torchlight would be most useful.
Have bus fare, valid concession card (if applicable) ready before boarding.
Step 4: Boarding the bus.
Step on bus carefully, advise driver of your –
- Status – Adult, Pensioner, Senior, Student, Child.
- Destination. Ticket Type – Single or daily.
- Check your ticket details before being seated to ensure they are correct.
Now take a seat and ENJOY THE RIDE.
Step 5: Getting off the bus.
When nearing your destination, push the stop button to alert driver, to enable safe stopping at the next available bus stop.
Do not move until bus completely stopped.
Before leaving, check your seat to ensure you have all your belongings.
Watch your step while departing from vehicle.
