When we caught up with Keppel MP Brittany Lauga earlier this year, she came up with the idea of naming our bus fleet. We put this idea out to the community and the response has been overwhelming. We’re thrilled to announce that the newest member of our bus fleet will be the first to be named.
This Friday the 19th February at 1pm at the Rockhampton PCYC (Stapleton Park) we will be joined by the Minister for Police Mr Bill Byrne and the acting Assistant Commissioner for Central Region Rob Weir in the official naming ceremony.
We welcome and invite all members of the public to attend this event.
We’ll let you know more about the name on Friday, but for now here’s a bit of a clue.
