On Friday 19th of February, our newest member of the fleet was the first to be officially named. We called our new Bustech XDi 55 seater bus “Project Booyah”.
Project Booyah is a community inclusive program helping young people develop necessary life skills to make sound decisions and better choices as well as bridging their disconnect with society. It’s aim is to provide a structured community inclusive program incorporating adventure based learning, social and skills development training, mentoring, youth support, functional literacy/numeracy education and vocational scholarships to support identified at risk young people regain a sense of their own self-worth, build resilience and make better life choices.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following people who have worked tiresly in securing this great initative for the Rockhampton region.
