Carols by the Beach is held Friday 21st December on Yeppoon Beachfront and features an evening of family fun, carols and Christmas variety entertainment.
The program is a jam-packed community showcase of Christmas entertainment and carols featuring entertainers, bands, singing groups, community choirs and dancers (beginning at 4pm).
Every year our special guest Santa arrives with his jolly Ho! Ho! Ho! to say g’day and to check if all the girls and boys have been ‘naughty or nice’. We traditionally greet him with a rousing round of Aussie Jingle Bells before sending him off on his merry way with an amazing fireworks finale.
The Yeppoon beachfront and stage amphitheatre is an ideal venue for this fantastic afternoon and evening of family entertainment event with plenty of seating on the grassy terraces, food stalls operating and a wonderful outlook over Keppel Bay taking in Great Keppel Island. All you really need to bring is your picnic blankets and pillows … and of course some Xmas Cheer!!!!
There will be minimal disruption to any bus services. Services that arrive at Hill St Yeppoon after 4:00pm will simply do a U-Turn and travel via Queen St and Barry St to avoid Anzac Parade and James St road closures.

Getting there
Carols by the Beach is held on the Yeppoon beach front along Anzac Parade. You can catch our route 20 service to Hill St Yeppoon and walk 100 metres to the event without having to worry about finding a park. There will be road closures in place and historically road traffic has been an issue so avoid all that and CATCH A BUS!
